Full dentures

A full denture replaces all of the teeth in the upper jaw, the lower jaw, or both. It restores your ability to chew and supports the shape of your face, which changes over time when teeth are missing. Getting there takes several appointments — impressions, fitting, and adjustments — because the fit is what determines whether you can actually wear it comfortably.

Partials

A partial replaces some missing teeth while your remaining natural teeth stay in place. It clasps onto those teeth and comes out for cleaning. Beyond letting you chew normally again, a partial keeps the teeth around the gap from tipping and drifting into it.

Flippers

A flipper is a lightweight removable tooth replacement, most often used for one or a few teeth and often as a temporary solution — filling a visible gap while you heal from an extraction or while a longer-term replacement is being made. It is the quickest way to not walk around with a missing front tooth.

Snap-in dentures

Snap-in dentures attach to dental implants placed in the jaw, so the denture clicks into position and stays put instead of resting on the gums alone. They come out for cleaning like a conventional denture, but they do not move around while you eat and talk. This is a common step up for people who have struggled with a lower denture that will not stay in.

All-on-4 and all-on-x permanent dentures

All-on-4 and all-on-x replace a full arch of teeth on a small number of dental implants. Unlike a conventional or snap-in denture, this one is fixed — you do not take it out, and you care for it more like natural teeth. It requires enough jawbone to support the implants, which is one of the first things we check with a panoramic x-ray.

Same-day repairs and relines

Because the denture lab is on-site, we handle many denture and partial repairs and relines the same day. A reline refits the base of an existing denture to your gums, which change shape over the years — it is the usual fix when a denture that used to fit has started to slip or rub. If your denture broke, call us; do not glue it.

Common questions

What is the difference between full dentures and partials?

A full denture replaces all the teeth in a jaw. A partial replaces only some, clasping onto the natural teeth you still have. Which one applies comes down to how many healthy teeth remain and whether they are strong enough to anchor a partial.

Can you fix a broken denture the same day?

Often, yes — our denture lab is on-site, so many repairs and relines are done the same day. Call the office at (480) 354-6177 and describe what happened. Please do not try to repair it with household glue; it can make the denture unrepairable and some adhesives are not safe in the mouth.

What does having a denture lab on-site mean for me?

Your denture and partial work is made and repaired in our own building rather than shipped to an outside facility. That removes the mailing time in both directions, which is why many repairs and relines are same-day, and it means the person building your denture can talk directly with the person treating you when something needs adjusting. Crowns and bridges are different — those are made by an outside laboratory from a 3D scan we take here.

Do you charge for a denture consultation?

No. Consultations for dentures and implants are free.
